Prayer for CCL Convention 2004

Father in heaven, we come before you now to ask for your grace and blessing. Let us first call to mind our sins. (Pause). We beg your mercy for our personal sins, and for the sins of all of mankind.

Help America and the world to realize that if we want to stop terrorism in the streets, we must first stop the terrorism against unborn children in the womb. Open our hearts to the truth of your plan regarding marriage, family, and human sexuality. May we proclaim these truths from the rooftops (Matt 10:27) and live them out courageously in our daily lives. May our pursuit of purity transform every aspect of our lives, bringing a new culture of life and an end to the culture of death.

Abundantly bless all who are planning and preparing for CCL Convention 2004, all who will be speaking or presenting, all who will assist with the care of the children, all who will attend the convention, and all who will be influenced in any way. May this convention break down barriers and initiate a great increase in cooperation between CCL and diocesan NFP programs everywhere. May it bring dawn to a new day when Natural Family Planning will be the norm for married couples throughout the world, in accordance with God's Plan.

May our hearts burn with love for you, Lord, for your Sweet Mother, for your Holy Church, and for all of your children, so that our every breath, every word, every thought, every action, and every heartbeat would give glory to God. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.

Saints Peter and Paul, convention patrons, pray for us.

Prayer for CCL leadership

Almighty God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we give You praise and adoration. We come before you in reparation for our sins and ask Your forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, pour out Your love and mercy upon the CCL Board of Directors and all who work for CCL. Bless them with your abundant graces to do Your Will.

We thank you Lord for the grace of conversions in the lives of couples through CCL.

Glory be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end.

Amen.
