"Heart/Body Connection-Programming Faith" - US Bishops NFP Efforts

Theresa Notare is the Assistant Director of the Diocesan Development Program for Natural Family Planning, Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. In that role she supports the dioceses of the United States in their efforts to strengthen NFP ministry.

Theresa has studied both the Ovulation Method and the Sympto-Thermal Methods of Natural Family Planning. She studied the Church's moral tradition on birth control under the guidance of the former director of the DDP/NFP, the late Bishop James T.McHugh.

Theresa's formal education includes an MA from the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, CA where she studied Church history and the modern ecumenical movement. She also studied at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Rome and is currently a doctoral student in Church History at the Catholic University of America.

Theresa is well published in Catholic circles as one of the authors of Life Issues Forum, a nationally syndicated column published by the Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities. She has also appeared on EWTN and Catholic radio.
